Do you know a daredevil grandad or a granny with a rebellious streak running through her blue rinse? Well, this Sunday (October 7), they can have a hair-raising (if they’ve got any, that is) experience and slide their way down the ArcelorMittal Orbit for free.

The Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park attraction is giving OAPs the chance to go down the longest and tallest slide in the world to mark National Grandparents Day.

All the daring grandparents have to do to secure their place on the slide of their life is book their spot with another full-price ticket. So, if you’ve been searching for something to do with your elderly relatives on Sunday, look no further. One thing’s for sure – it could end up being an experience you’ll never forget.

ArcelorMittal Orbit, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, 5 Thornton St, E20 2AD. 10am-5pm. Oct 7. Free ticket using the code: GrandSlide
