It snowed in London this morning – and there’s more on the way

A blast of cold Siberian air is making London feel distinctly chilly this morning. The ‘Beast from the East’ rolled into town over the weekend, kicking off the last week of February with a smattering of snow across the capital.

Alright, so it’s not exactly Narnia – but the Met Office has warned of more snow showers to come, starting this afternoon and continuing till Friday. And even if the snow doesn’t settle, it’s still going to feel bloody cold all week.
