Welcome to brand new week. With gloriously warm weather and the school holidays still in full swing, London is, once again, set to be buzzing. While the weekend is when London really comes to life, from the BBC Proms to open-air theatre shows, art exhibitions to al fresco cinema, there’s loads of fun stuff to see and do during the week too.

Whether you’re taking the kids on a day out, or have evening plans lined up, if you’re in London this week, you’ll probably have to catch a train at some point. The good news is that there aren’t too many planned closures or cancellations to look out for.

This week, disruptions will mainly affect anyone planning to travel on the Overground late in the evening. Here’s the full list of planned TfL closures to keep in mind over the next four days.

RECOMMENDED: The best things to do in London this week

London Underground

There are no planned closures on any Underground lines this week, though there may be unscheduled delays or cancellations.

Overground

Weaver line

After 10.45pm from Monday to Thursday, there’ll be no Weaver line services between Hackney Downs and Cheshunt / Enfield Town. You can use local London bus services from Hackney Downs to Seven Sisters or a replacement bus instead. The late evening Greater Anglia and Stansted Express trains which usually call at Seven Sisters will stop at Tottenham Hale instead.

Windrush line

On Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, there will be no Windrush trains between New Cross Gate and West Croydon / Crystal Palace after 11.30pm. Replacement buses will be running from 11.58pm or you can use local buses or trams instead.

Station closures

Cutty Sark (DLR)

Cutty Sark station is closed until spring next year as TfL work on replacing all four escalators. Your best alternative is the nearby Greenwich DLR station.

London Fields Rail Station (Weaver)

London Fields Rail Station will be closing at 11.33pm each evening from Monday to Thursday. You’ll be able to get a rail replacement bus from Mare Street at 12.42am (from Enfield Town to Liverpool Street) and 1.13am (from Cheshunt to Liverpool Street).

Cambridge Heath Rail Station (Weaver)

Cambridge Heath station will also be shutting at 11.35pm each evening from Monday to Thursday this week. TfL says there will be ‘very limited replacement buses’ travelling southbound at 12.48am (from Enfield Town to Liverpool Street) and 1.19am (from Cheshunt to Liverpool Street).
