Yes, we’ve probably all indulged in a hungover brekky from a certain red-and-yellow-favouring high-street burger chain (other high-street burger chains are available). But generally, the good old patty ’n’ bun combo is usually reserved for post-midday dining.
Don’t want to play by those rules? Then get excited, because on August 22, it’s National Burger Day – and, to celebrate, the mighty MEATliquor will be opening for the full 24 hours.
Head down to the West End branch at any point during August 22 (right through till 3am the following day) and you’ll be able to indulge. From 5am to 11.30am they’ll be serving meat, veggie and vegan breakfast burgers. For the rest of the day, it’s full steam ahead with their regular menu.
And the booze? Oh yeah, that’s 24-hour too. So whether you want a breakfast Martini (featuring a bacon-dusted pickled quail’s egg) or a night-time pint, they’ve got you covered. All together now: it’s the moooost wonderful time of the year…
