Nostalgic emos of London rise up – this week is your chance to dust off the ripped skinny jeans, box-dye your side fringe and relive 2006, AKA the year that My Chemical Romance dropped their legendary concept album The Black Parade. 

Gerard Way and co are at London’s Wembley Stadium as part of their Long Live the Black Parade world tour. The tour, created to celebrate 20 years of the career-defining record (and the 15th anniversary of Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoysbegan in North America last summer and kicked off the UK and Europe leg on June 30. The first London show was on July 8.

Judging from the shows so far (particularly the huge Liverpool gig and mighty first London date), everyone heading to Wembley for MCR is in for a treat. So without further ado, here are all the details you need to know ahead of My Chemical Romance at Wembley.

When are My Chemical Romance playing London? 

The band are playing three dates at London’s Wembley Stadium. They’re on the following dates:

  • Wednesday July 8
  • Friday July 10
  • Saturday July 11

What time do doors open at Wembley Stadium? 

Fans can enter the stadium from 5pm each evening. 

What time will My Chemical Romance come on stage?

Based on the first date in London, you can expect MCR to come out at about 8pm. They’ll play until about 10.30pm.

Who’s supporting My Chemical Romance at Wembley? 

Each night has a different support act – and in keeping with the tour’s theme, the lineup is heavy on nostalgia. Here’s the breakdown of who’s supporting MCR at Wembley on which dates:

There’s still time to pick up tickets for the Black Parade at Wembley. Ticketmaster still has general and resale tickets up for grabs.

Wembley allows everyone to bring one small bag each, and this must be A4 size or smaller.

My Chemical Romance reviews

Reviews of the first night at Wembley were largely exceptionally positive. A five-star review from Matt Mills in Louder said the band ‘cemented themselves as rock’s greatest showmen right now’, while another five-star write-up in Rolling Stone from Katerina Muszanskyj said MCR are ‘still firmly one rock’s most ambitious players in 2026’.
