Regent’s Street is home to all sorts of high-end fashion for humans. Now it’s also where you’re going to want to head if teeny-tiny haute couture is your bag.

From today, enormous London toy emporium Hamley’s is the location for the ‘world’s smallest fashion show’.  The models – a bunch of Sylvanian Families cuties – are just 9.5cm tall, parading on an automated catwalk and wearing impossibly small outfits, featuring mini gold chains, tiny tulle and microscopic embroidery.

Go, because your inner eight-year-old desperately wants you to. Go to convince any children you know that these furry, sweet-faced animals are the best toys ever invented. Go to feel horribly unfashionable and undressed.

‘The World’s Smallest Catwalk’ is part of the shop’s new Sylvanian Families Town and will be on display at Hamleys from today until May 2.
