This map shows London’s top ten tube journeys

Earlier this month, the Mayor’s office debuted a nifty web app that reveals the number of people who do exactly the same tube journey as you every day. It wants to encourage Londoners to join the conversation about how data can improve the city. But our big question was: which journeys are the most popular?

We asked, they answered. Here are the top ten trips and how many people do them – including a staggering 30,127 sweaty commuters swarming out of Waterloo to the City or Canary Wharf each day. Just think of the dry cleaning bills for all those M&S suits.
