Three things you won't want to miss in London this Wednesday

  1. Treat your mates to a lunch date at Old Spitalfields Market this week, where ten new traders will be serving up delicious grub from The Kitchens. Spice things up with a hake masala from Burmese joint Lahpet or grab an absurdly good salt beef sarnie from Monty’s Deli

  2. As we inch towards Spring, why not detox your wardrobe? If you’re lucky enough to have designer bags, clothes and shoes languishing in the back of yours, bring them to AQ AQ located at 12 Foubert’s Place, where the experts from Rebelle will sort and upload your items to their online marketplace and pay you when they sell. Get down to the store from 11am to 7pm today and tomorrow.

  3. Women’s rights were hard fought for and not always peacefully. Militant suffragettes chained themselves to railings, slashed paintings, set off bombs and some even died in the name of democracy. Whether this violence was justified is the topic of discussion for this panel at the National Army Museum. The event is free and begins at 6.30pm.
