This week London said goodbye to one of the great music groups. Hip-hop icons Wu-Tang Clan are currently in the midst of a grand global farewell tour which saw them play one London shows on March 17. A second date was supposed to take place on March 18 but has since been cancelled.

Formed in New York in the early ’90s, Wu-Tang Clan changed hip-hop forever with their seminal debut record Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers). The farewell tour, which is titled Wu-Tang Forever: The Final Chamber, features all nine surviving members of the group (in name, that’s RZA, GZA, Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, Method Man, Inspectah Deck, U-God, Masta Killa and Cappadonna) as well as Mathematics and Ol’ Dirty Bastard’s son, Young Dirty Bastard.

In other words, if you’re even remotely a hip-hop-head, this was not a gig to miss. Here’s what you need to know.
