Well, your interior decorating dream could come true, because everyone’s favourite political commentator Banksy has put one of his sculptures into a raffle at the Choose Love store, where you can pick gifts for refugees. Tickets cost just £2, and all you need to do is guess the weight of HMS Banksy and you could go home with this trim little craft. The best thing is that all the proceeds go to charity, so you get to impress every single visitor that ever comes to your house AND help people.
Banksy himself says: ‘I’m raffling one of the boats from “Dismaland” in aid of refugee support services. You can win it for just £2 if you correctly guess how much it weighs. Fully remote-controlled, top speed three knots, batteries included. It’s on display at the pop-up Help Refugees shop.’
Bear in mind, this is Banksy, the man who recently SHREDDED his own artwork as it sold at auction. But assuming he doesn’t swoop in with a sledgehammer and smash the boat to bits as it’s handed to you, you will have done your bit and be the proud owner of a unique artwork.
