Shockingly, this Soho basement bar is London’s only exclusively lesbian venue, and it takes this responsibility seriously. Run by the team behind Ku Bar, SHE has a comparable flair for laying on entertainment: as well as club nights, it regularly offers comedy, cabaret, karaoke and quiz evenings. Open Box, a monthly drag king talent contest hosted by scene heroes Adam All and Apple Derrières, is definitely worth popping in your Google Calendar.

Best time I have ever had for a long time, very welcoming, felt at ease straightaway, great karaoke evening, great vibe and music. Pitty it closes at 11pm already.
When I came here last year while visiting London it was full of straight people, a lot of men too (no problem with the queer men though). They were letting all this straight people in but they wouldn’t let me in cause I came alone, so I had to come in with a random guy. I don’t know if it was just an unusual night but what I experienced was very far from the description
With the closure of so many 'Women's Bars' in London, this golden womb of a 'Lesbian Bar' provides a sexy safe-haven and party-spot for the scene. At the weekends, the club nights are rammed to the rafters and they have a mix of other nights, including Dating, Quizes, Comedy, Karaoke and even Drag King Cabaret.The drink prices are fairly reasonable and there are often cocktail and...vitally, prosecco deals.
