Young musicians from the unique disciplines of jazz and orchestral music converge to perform Mark-Anthony Turnage’s iconic 1996 work 'Blood on the Floor'.
The work, featuring a solo jazz quartet and large orchestral ensemble, provides the opportunity for musicians from Southbank Sinfonia and the Guildhall School’s jazz department to work side-by-side, and become accustomed to the idiomatic techniques from both styles.
