A celebration of the life and work of late composer Geoffrey Burgon is presented by Monty Python's Terry Jones (Burgon wrote the music for 'Life of Brian'). City of London Sinfonia directed by violist Philip Dukes and Wellensian Consort under Christopher Finch and Alex Arkwright, with Ellen Arkwright (soprano) and cellist Josephine Knight. Geoffrey Burgon's Viola Concerto; 'But Have Been Found Again'; 'The Corpus Christi Carol'; 'Apple Blossom'; 'The Assumption'; 'Love Me Brought'; Cello Concerto. Plus, works from his music for film and TV: 'Brideshead Revisited', 'Bleak House', 'The Chronicles of Narnia', 'Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy', and 'The Forsyte Saga'.
