Gorecki’s Symphony No 4

The world premiere of the fourth and final symphony from another late composer, Poland’s Henryk Gorecki, has been a long time in coming. His Third Symphony (‘…of Sorrowful Songs’) was first heard in 1977. London Philharmonic Orchestra under Andrey Boreyko does the honours.
