Alistair Appleton presents the informal classical night event, 'The Night Shift', in its last appearance at Southbank Centre until the autumn. The Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment under Roy Goodman plays the Rondo Vivace movement from Beethoven's Piano Concerto No 4 (with soloist Artur Pizarro); and all of Schubert's dark and brooding Symphony No 4 in C minor ('Tragic'). (Note: audiences can enjoy live music from Betty Steeles in the bar beforehand from 9pm and DJ Rico Portland is on stage afterwards until midnight.)
