Lloyd park has been transformed in recent years and is now a destination to travel too with loads to offer. It is home to the gardens of the William Morris Gallery, a lovely moat full of wildlife, tennis courts, bowls greens, a fantastic playground, a cafe (La Delice in the Park), skate park and big fields for dog walkers and runners. It also hosts regular events including the now annual Walthamstow Garden Party. I walk my dog here every day and couldn't ask for a better park. Actually, don't visit, it's lovely as it is!

The grounds of the William Morris Museum make up this fairly large park on the northern side of Walthamstow. It hosts lots of community events throughout the year including the ever popular Walthamstow Garden Party every July. The grounds consist of a children's play area made from wood, a sand pit, a boules club, a children's nursery, a cafe/coffee shop, an outdoor gym, basketball courts, tennis courts, a large pond/ornate lake and space for football/cricket pitches. It is a great community space used by families, joggers, dog walkers alike.

It is great, with the William Morris Gallery at one end and its gardens, then the bridge over the water that leads to the kids playground, cafe (with ample free toilets), skate park, occasional gallery space and open park land. It is a huge benefit to the local community. It's a fair walk from any tube or train stations and the car park is tiny (and local roads are permitted) so it really is mostly for locals.
