It's actually quite difficult to mess up a burger this badly. We had Smokie burgers. The patties were overdone, maple bacon was like chewing cardboard, smokey cheese wasn't smokey at all and I couldn't actually taste any BBQ sauce. I asked for chunky fries and got some weird mixture of chunky and scraped off the bottom french fries. We dared not ask for the dessert menu.

Great food, beautful view of the Barbican Lakes - get down there.

I really love this place, great chicken and chips and the staff are lovely.  I would recommend the chicken wings.  If its nice you can sit outside and get the best view of the Barbican  Lakes.

Nice burger restaurant on the first floor of Barbican centre. Friendly staff and modern interiors. The views to Barbican lake are excellent. Regarding food and prices, it is on average scoring. Good for a quick lunch or diner pre or after your day's performance of excibition visit.

I was attending the cinema on Saturday evening and I thought I would take a wander around the delightful Barbican and stumbled across Bonfire. Bonfire is a grilled/BBQ style food restaurant specialising in chicken & burgers.

I am ever the indecisive so I opted for meatballs and sweet potato wedges.

My friend went for the chicken with the slaw.

I got 6 meatballs in a delightful tomato based sauce topped with plenty of Parmesan cheese. The sweet potato wedges were lovely and came with a nice creamy dip. I couldn't fault the flavours or the food I had, it's not spectacular but certainly is satisfying.

I also had a delightful mule cocktail with vodka and ginger beer with a twist of lime. My drink choice perfectly complimented my dishes actually.

My mind wasn't rocked by the menu or the food but it was a pleasant enough experience.

The staff were attentive but it wasn't busy, the atmosphere was made by the music which was always toe tapping sing along tunes.

I would return but only if I was at the Barbican for a specific event.
