Deeney's

The permanent home of former market stall Deeney's, which was co-founded by Scottish cook Carol Deeney. Carol's heritage shines in the 'Macbeth haggis toastie', haggis balls (which look like breaded meatballs) and 'tattie and leek' soup.

Very pleasant experience and an absolute gem in the area. Atmosphere is cosy and they play great chill hop and jazz in the background. Very good value for money got Smoked Salmon, Scrambled Eggs, Spinach and a pot of Lemongrass Tea for all under £10. The staff are so friendly and make you feel like your at home in the living room. I will be returning for sure!! =D

Awesome sandwiches, haggis and a very friendly team. The flavours are unique for London - definitely worth a trip!

Delighted Deeney's chose Leyton for its first permanent home. A cracking spot with lovely staff and great coffee - a hugely welcome addition to the High Road.

Double, double, toil and trouble; Fire burn, and Haggis Cheese Toasty bubble! Deeny's Macbeth Toasty. Nuff said. I used to queue to get one down at Chatsworth Road market so I was stoked to find out they were opening local to me.

It's lovely and very friendly place that brought up some love and live to abanded part of High Road Leyton

Great little cafe, nice atmosphere, community vibe and the best way to enjoy haggis (amongst lots of other yums - the brownies are the best)

This cafe is exactly what the area needed - a warm, friendly local cafe with delicious food and the serving up the best coffee around this part of town with amazing staff. I've meet so many wonderful people at this cafe and I don't know what I'd do without it. Thanks Deeny's.

This place rules. In an area of London with very few fancy coffee shops/cafe's, this place is really welcome.

Best coffee in Leyton! Comfortable trendy setting with a friendly welcoming staff. Love their vegetarian haggis toastie as well! 5 star cafe.

Awesome, thoughtful selection (speaking as a vegan) and great service! Super welcoming :)

Truly is the best cafe in Leyton. Best coffee, best atmosphere, killer toasters, killer people.

Lovely friendly atmosphere. Brilliant food and coffee. Excellent local cafe with a real distinctiveness.

What a great edition to this neighbourhood. Finally good coffee! And the Macbeth's are very more-ish.
