The Marylebone branch of this small chain of seafood restaurants is cleverly decked out in subtle nautical themes to hint at their speciality. Calming shades of blue cover the walls, along with sparing fishing photos.
As well as a restaurant, FishWorks is a fishmongers, so you can pick your seafood and request it be cooked just the way you like it. Most of the fish is from Devon and the south coast and options range from oysters, whole Devon crab and Nova Scotia lobster thermidor to seared yellowfin tuna nicoise, Arbroath smokies with a freshly poached duck egg and chervil butter, lobster linguine and oven-roasted sea bass with fresh lemon thyme, olive oil and Cornish sea salt.
The wine list focuses on whites, though some reds do feature, too. Beers include Viceroy India Pale Ale from Westerham Brewery, Sagres and Peroni. FishWorks' sister branch is in Mayfair.
The restaurant offers a fantastic atmosphere great to finish your days shopping or after a stroll in Regents Park. Part of an award winning London restaurant group, we’re doing what we do best – sourcing, preparing and serving the freshest and best seafood in town. We work closely with our suppliers, talking directly with fishing boats and South Coast fish markets who deliver us the freshest catch daily. Our restaurants are proud to ensure our seafood is only sourced from well-managed and sustainable fisheries. We believe in providing the freshest and highest quality seafood to each of our valued customers, delivering the finest dining experience possible with our passionate team.

Non expensive, great relaxed atmosphere, comfortable seating, good service. Perfectly cooked fish, whitebait to die for, Prosecco and sea bass were a delight, dessert equally so, my new favourite friday night relaxant. Well lit, comfortable temperature and nice quiet surroundings. An atmosphere, but not one that shouts, and not one that overpowers. If you want a relaxed light meal and a catch up with a friend where you can actually hear them, for a reasonable price, this is the place.
