Venue says We are starting a revolution! Handcrafted baked goods and fresh ingredients for the people! Join us for breakfast or brunch.

A small bakery-cum-café in Battersea, specialising in sourdough bread and Neapolitan pizza. Head along for a freshly prepared breakfast, where even the butter is home-made. The wine list is small but inexpensive, and there are plenty of options for pizza toppings.

They're on sourdough bases, and range from traditional margheritas, diavolas, capricciosas and neopolitanas to the more unusual option of English breakfast. A vegan option comes with seasonal vegetables. And for dessert? How about a pizza with vanilla Ice cream and nocciolata crema di cacao e nocciole? (Posh Italian Nutella, basically.)

Flour to the People says
Flour to the People is a small, family run sourdough café/bakery/pizzeria. We focus on making as much as we can from scratch. Where possible, we source local, free-range or organic ingredients and our passion is to ensure that all our food is simple, straight-forward, honest and tasty.

The breakfast/brunch menu has been creatively put together to feature some of our own twists to classic meals such, as our eggs benedict-ish. Aptly named as we use our own sourdough crumpets baked daily instead of English muffins. We also make our own butter, marmalade, jams, hollandaise, mayonnaise... the list goes on!

A fun, intimate, informal and friendly café with a well thought out, honest and original menu is what to expect when you visit us.

Everything about this place is incredibly homely and generous; the service, the portioning, the huge mugs of coffee and cups of freshly squeezed fruit juice. If you're lucky enough to bag a seat here for brunch you can indulge in one of their freshly baked sourdough creations adorned with any and all kinds of hangover-busting trimmings - the 'Eggs Florentine-ish' swaps muffins for their sourdough crumpets and was a serious delight.

I'll be back in a hurry to be try their evening pizza menu because if brunch was anything to go by then it can only be well worth the trip.

I love this cafe - fantastic brunches, great pizza, friendly staff! It's a small place so it can get crowded but delivers every single time. Be sure to try the eggs benedict or avo slam - delicious!

Not only is the food great but the staff are all incredibly friendly and generous with their time. The owners have crafted a fantastic business here - a must visit if you're in Battersea!

Flour to the People has a funky space – lots of brickwork and curiously each table has its own toaster. It is pretty small so be prepared to wait for a seat if you come at peak times. However it is worth the wait. My Slamwich was brunch heaven. The maple syrup buttered toast was awesome – I would have been happy with this alone – but it sandwiched bacon, sausage and a cheesy omelette. Great with a glass of fresh orange juice. The other half totally rated his coffee (and he knows his beans). Plus his Avo and Egg Slam (crushed avocado with feta cheese and two poached eggs on sourdough) looked pretty tasty too. Cool atmosphere, cool prices, cool flavours.

The team in there are so lovely and friendly, they remember what you like, and are great fun. AND the cofffee and bread is literally the best in the world. Gemma

Going to Flour to the People is like going to a friend's house. Staff are always super friendly and helpful and the FOOD IS AMAZING! Every time! The best neighbourhood cafe I had encountered for years!

The all you can eat toast is my jam. (Pun intended) Seriously... its amazing

This is the most incredible little cafe! I'd rave about it endlessly, but it's already hard enough getting a table, so I don't want too many more people showing up (y'know, unless I can book a permanent reservation on the weekends ;) )

Few places combine the two best smells in the world - freshly baked bread and freshly ground coffee... but Flour to the People brings us freshly baked sourdough bread - with white, wholemeal and olive varieties for those wanting to take bread home. Combine that with the always fantastic Nude espresso coffee from their Shoreditch roastery and you've got an epic take home option. If you are wanting to eat in - they've got amazing food from eggs benedict salmon in the morning, or stonebaked pizzas in the evening. You can probably tell by now that I'm saying this is one of the best coffee shops in Battersea, and quite possibly London!

The most amazing bread and atmosphere in the day. And the best pizza and chilled evening in the evening.
Most importantly the owner and all the staff are amazing. So friendly, helpful and fun. The owner goes out of his way to make you feel welcome and they support other locat businesses. My favourite place in all of battersea, day and night!

Great coffee, handmade sourdough bread to take home, lovely staff, delicious brunches.

Amazing cafe with brilliant staff. Best breakfast we have had in London. We can't wait to go back.

Tiny but great grub and they are also a bakery. Limited menu but what they do is really delicious. Good coffee too.

My go-to pizza and carrot cupcake spot. So lucky we have such a gem on our doorstep

To start, staff member greeted me with a smile when I walked in which almost never happens in London. One star. Second, the menu seems very extensive for brunch with all your usual egg and sammy offerings. Cozy place Two stars.

I got the smashed avocado with sweet chilli, lime & feta on sourdough. I asked for brown bread instead of white and the aforementioned staff member found some for me. Three stars.

The sammy is solid. Huge avo chunks and the feta and lime/chili complemented the savoury taste. The bread slices are generous so this is quote filling. Four stars.

Got sammy quickly. Also, clean toilet. Five stars.

Without the merest hint of hyperbole, this sourdough bakery and cafe wins my vote for one of the best sandwiches in London. The slamwich banishes the dry and dusty ghost of chiller-cabinet all-day breakfast sandwiches. An omelette, crispy bacon and sausages stuffed between slices of toothsome sourdough and fried in butter and maple syrup. It's the kind of thing Elvis would have died eating, and happily so. The strength here is the bread and you can order unlimited stacks of bread that you toast yourself at the magical see-through toasters provided on the tables.
