Gold: Power and Allure exhibition

Diamonds may be a girl’s best friend, but gold is so much more interesting. It’s a little known fact, for example, that Britain and gold date back as far as 2,500 BC – and that many rare artifacts still exist. At this exhibition curated by The Goldsmiths Company, you can check out ancient and rare artifacts among the 400 gold pieces that cover both gold’s British heritage and it’s brand spanking new contemporary design, including work by Wright & Teague and Polly Gasston.
