Accessible both from Kentish Town/Tuffnel Park and Camden road - and luckily for me, 3 minutes away from home - Salvino is a beautiful, traditional Italian produce store that also has a delicious looking delicatessen counter offering 'formaggio', 'salumi' and 'olive'. Absolutely EVERYTHING is tempting. The fresh pasta including ravioli and tortellini looks absolutely delicious too!

It's the kind of stores you would expect to be overly pricey but it actually really isn't: they have a £7 wine deal for two bottles of table wine and tons of little gift ideas.

The one thing I am not a fun of, for having tested it this morning, is the breakfast counter. It looked really, really appealing but the croissants taste fake and overly sweet and the coffee tastes - according to my boyfriend - burnt but that seems to be a typical mediterranean thing according to him.

Finally, the atmosphere is great: you'll hear the owners singing about principesse when they're not busy speaking loudly about how proud they are of coming from Puglia, South Italy. You'll feel like you're in a 'dolce vita' film.

The best Italian deli in London. Have been going there for ~30 years and it gets better and better. It attracts Italian Londoners from all over the city. Good cheese, salami, ham, olives, and fresh home-made ravioli many weekends.

Super friendly local store that stocks amazing imported Italian products. Love that it's round the corner from our house, always a winner when friends come to stay.
