Time Out says

Mindset is the next all-in-one training studio to arrive in Central London. Just five minutes walk from Waterloo Station, if offers boxing, HIIT, spin, weights or yoga. Most classes are mixed, but there are also female-only sessions available.

The studio itself is smart and modern. I did the Sets and Reps class which sells itself online as ‘the one to make Arnold proud’. Walking into a room that was mainly full of very muscly men, I didn't feel very Arnie at all, more like Melissa McCarthy in ‘Bridesmaids’, but the two trainers in the room were excellent and did everything they could to inspire and improve my technique. Their friendly instruction, regular encouragement and the constant moving from one exercise to the next, made it an extremely quick 45 minutes.

The changing facilities are clean but small and basic compared to some other London studios. You’ll need to bring your own conditioner, a padlock for your locker and £1 to rent a towel. The showers are hot and powerful, but require repeated pressing-on, which is a bit tiresome, especially if your arms are wobbling post-class.

These things all said, Mindset is good value if you're looking for the closest thing to personal training without the 1:1 price tag. Unlimited use will set you back £120 a month and includes free towels. If you want to try before you buy, there is also an intro offer which is £20 for three classes.
