Michael Cusacks Camogie Club 'Come and Try' session

If you host it, they will come – or at least the Michael Cusacks Camogie Club hopes they will. Camogie is stick-and-ball game played by women; not a million miles away from hockey, but with sticks that look like smushed baseball bats. The club is looking to enlist new members with this ‘Come and Try’ session, open to players of all ages and skill levels. Hour-long sessions include a brief introduction to camogie, drills that focus on the basics of the sport and a chance to meet club members.
