This new coming-of-age drama from Kat Rose-Martin is a paeon to the now largely vanished joys of getting shitfaced at a midweek clubnight with outrageous drinks offers. Set in 2012, ‘£1 Thursdays’ follows Stacey and Jen, 17-year-old best friends from Bradford who use the titular offer at the local Club Ocean as an excuse to escape from the world. Monique Ashe-Palmer and Yasmin Taheri star, in a production directed by Vicky Moran.
