A Midsummer Night’s Dream

Even by its own formidable standards, the Globe had staged A Midsummer Night’s Dream a lot recently: in its 2025 winter season, its 2026 summer season, and now in the 2027 inbetween season as a truncated 90-minute version that’s made for school audiences but had many shows open for the public. Which is fine – people love the Dream, and certainly this is at least going to be a uniquely chilly production, beginning its outdoor run in March. It’ll be directed by Globe director of education Lucy Cuthbertson.
