An Ideal Husband

This intriguing take on the Oscar Wilde classic from director Nicholai La Barrie relocates the action – which follows the high-flying Lord Chiltern, and the woman who threatens his immaculate reputation – to the present day, and a Black family. A fine cast includes Lyric panto regular Emmanuel Akwafo as Mason/Phipps and erstwhile Hamilton star Jamael Westman as Lord Goring, with a recorded vocal contribution from smooth-voiced BBC radio legend Trevor Nelson.
