No, your eyes haven't deceived you, this is a musical based on Dracula. What's more, elusive playwright Gregory Motton has penned it. Motton's odd, boundary breaking scripts have been staged with success, including some at the Royal Court, earlier in his career, but his work is now seen more on French stages than in the UK. Here his adaptation sticks close to the original and is performed, fittingly, in the gothic Union Chapel in the lead up to Halloween.
