Fences

August Wilson’s classic 1985 play about Troy, a conficted middle aged African American head of household in ’50s Pittsburgh, was last seen in the West End over a decade ago as a vehicle for the great Lenny Henry. Now it’s revived as a touring production from the mighty Headlong, with stage and screen vet Ray Fearon heading up the Daniel Bailey-directed show as Troy. The show has already received great reviews on its tour.
