Into the Whirlwind

Russia's Sovremennik theatre company makes its UK debut under the ausipices of football-loving oligarch Roman Abramovich. The first of three plays to be performed (in Russian with English surtitles) is Eugenia Ginzburg's epic drama about her seventeen year imprisonment in a Soviet gulag.
