Couldn't agree more with the previous reviewers. Everything about this play is just right. Fantastic performance by the young cast! As an Eastern European I found it hard to believe that such high quality interpretation and performance could be delivered by people with no Russian background or first-hand experience of post-Soviet provincial realities. Each character was spot on. Bravo to the director and the cast! Complements to the designers for the authentic wardrobe, old heaters, photographic wallpaper and the epic balcony. And last but not least, hat off to the translator - this was indeed one of the finest Russian-English adaptations I have seen, right down to slang & swearwords. Well done!

Blown away. A mature and vital play, exceptionally well done. Going again next week. Fight for a ticket!

This is amazing. Flawless, raw and poetic. Was passing the theatre and went in by chance - stumbled across a gem. Those Russians know how to write. One of the best directed and acted plays I've ever seen.
