Marguerite

The original London run of this musical, penned and produced by the writers of 'Les Miserables', closed two months early in 2008. But this production, presumably based around the subsequent 2010 reworking, features a new book and extra songs by the Oscar-winning Michel Legrand. Based on Alexandra Dumas' romantic novel 'La Dame aux Camelias', it's set in Nazi occupied Paris, where an ageing chanteuse, mistress to a German General, falls in love with a young member of the resistance.
