Time Out says

Although it’s the programming of his predecessor Lynette Linton, this new play is our first chance to see new Bush Theatre artistic director Taio Lawson at work in his new home. Written by Danny James King, Miss Myrtle’s Garden follows the eponymous elderly Jamaican immigrant. Sharp tongued, solitary, and suffering from dementia, Miss Myrtle’s confined world is disrupted by the arrival of various outsiders, including her queer grandson and his partner.
