Shakespeare's R&J

A new adaptation of Shakespeare's classic love story where star-crossed, ill-fated lovers don't quite manage to get together. Chapel Lane Theatre Company stage an intriguing interpretation of the Bard's play, here four boys at a boarding school are forced into strict classes, before pulling out a copy of 'Romeo and Juliet' and taking it in turns to read from it. Joe Calarco's adaptation scored some promising write ups during its run in Stratford-upon-Avon.
