This is a triple bill of plays from our good friends across the pond in the US-of-A which celebrate the journey of women over the last century. Philip Dawkins and Brooke Allen's are both contemporary, while Susan Glaspell's 1916 play is also staged to spice up the mix. Dawkins's 'Cast of Characters' is an epic family drama, while 'The Deer' by Allen is a story about a woman dealing with grief. Glaspell's 'Trifles' is a suspense thriller with subtle hints of feminism. Jack Thorpe Baker directs the shows.
