As of October 2018 The Buzz has cancelled all planned programming; it is unclear whether it will ever open
An ambitious crew of big-name theatre producers have got together to create The Buzz, a brand new immersive theatre venue in Elephant & Castle. It's located at Mercato Metropolitano, a lively indoor hotspot for street food, and is likely to share the same cavernous, industrial aesthetic.
The Buzz will join fellow South London immersive theatre hotspots The Vaults and CoLab Factory. It's got some serious commercial heft behind it that means it should be more than able to compete. West End producers LimeLight Productions (the guys behind 'Ghost Stories' and, err, 'Peppa Pig's Surprise') are teaming up with ebp ('Alice's Adventure's Underground') to launch the venue. It'll lift off with a bang in November with a brand new immersive show inspired by 'Thunderbirds'.
