One suspects part of the reason Rose artistic director Stephen Unwin is trundling out this Wilde warhorse as part of his Jane Asher-starring rep season is to balance 'Farewell to the Theatre', the more daring second play. Still, let us not forget this is a sublimely well-constructed comedy.
