The President Has Come to See You

The Royal Court's Weekly Rep season, in which (under Caryl Churchill's suggestion) six new plays will be performed over six weeks by the same company of 14, kicks off with Lasha Bughadze's absurd comedy about an escapee President during wartime in Georgia. Donald Rayfield's translation is performed as part of the Royal Court's Open Court festival.
