The Three Pintos

For what will be a historic sixtieth anniversary production, University College Opera presents the comedic opera telling the plight of one Don Pinto who falls prey to the scheming and deception of those around him. Set against a passionate 1960s Spanish backdrop, the exciting classical score by Carl Maria von Weber (and completed by Gustav Mahler) intensifies the emotions embodied in this tale of mistaken identities and misguided love.
