Time Out says

Set in 10th century Norway, this audacious play is one of Henrik Ibsen's less frequently performed plays. Made up of family sagas, the piece goes from high drama to domestic tragedy in the tale of foster-sisters Hjordis and Dagny who elope with Gunnar and Sigurd. It sounds like a whole lot of Vikings, Norse gods and epic adventure.
