Niamh Cusack returns to the Orange Tree to star as Ursula, owner of a modest boarding house in Brixton, whose life is turned upside down when a young Dutch artist named Vincent van Gogh comes to stay. Based loosely on a true story – Van Gogh did live in Brixton for a number of years – Nicholas Wright’s play was an Olivier-winning smash for the National Theatre when it debuted in 2002, and now gets its first major London revival in production directed by Georgia Green.
