Time Out says

Gillian Anderson and Ian McKellen are among the guest stars in this fundraiser murder mystery

The Park had a big – and vital – success with 2019’s fundraiser show ‘Whodunnit [Unrehearsed]’, a spoof murder mystery by Jez Bond and Mark Cameron that saw a different celebrity join the cast every night to take on the role of the Inspector. As the title says, no rehearsals for the guests: they have their lines fed to them by an earpiece and otherwise simply improvise the character as they see fit.

Although the Park’s typical programming rarely features celebrities, celebrities do tend to love the Park (perhaps in part because of its northerly location), and once again they’ve tapped up a formidable collection of stars for ‘Whodunnit [Unrehearsed] 2’, which is basically the exact same idea as its predecessor except this time it’s set on a cruise ship.

Anyway, the celebrities are as follows: Gillian Anderson, Clive Anderson, Sanjeev Bhaskar, Gyles Brandreth, Marcus Brigstocke, Simon Callow, Michelle Collins, Adrian Dunbar, Mark Gatiss, David Haig, Harry Hill, Adam Hills, Suranne Jones, Paterson Joseph, Ronan Keating, Ross Kemp, Maureen Lipman, Joanna Lumley, Lee Mack, Jason Manford, Stephen Mangan, Tim McInnerny, Ian McKellen, David Mitchell, Neil Morrissey, Tamzin Outhwaite, Sue Perkins, Clarke Peters, Tony Robinson, Hugo Speer, Meera Syal, Emma Thompson, Tim Vine, Johnny Vegas, and Bradley Walsh. There will be no advance notice of who will go on, but each will do it once. However, Thompson and McKellen have pre-recorded voiceovers to the show, so in a certain sense they’re guaranteed. Post-show, audiences will have the opportunity to grill the celeb about their experiences.

As a fundraiser for the theatre (which is naturally struggling somewhat in the pandemic era), tickets are quite steep (and press are not invited to review). However, cheaper standing tickets are available on the day of each show by phone or web only. Conversely, you can pay a tenner extra to enter a lottery to have a small part n the show: remember, it’s all to a good cause.
