Animal Crackers

An exhibition looking at the ways in which animals have inspired cartoon and comic artists. The cartoon bestiary features American Eagle, the Russian Bear and the financial Fat Cat as well as favourite characters such as Mickey Mouse, Wallace and Gromit, Bunny Suicides, Flook, Fred Basset, Korky the Cat, Pip, Squeak and Wilfred, and Rupert Bear. Artists represented include Nick Abadzis, Steve Bell, David Low, Martin Rowson, Ronald Searle and Ralph Steadman.
