You’ve heard of the Bermondsey Beer Mile, but did you know about its plucky younger sibling, the Blackhorse Beer Mile? E17’s epic new taproom crawl was officially launched last spring by the cluster of top craft brewers dotted around Walthamstow’s Blackhorse Road, and now it’s hosting a big bank holiday birthday bash to celebrate a hugely successful first year. The eight venues on the route (that’s Pretty Decent, Big Penny Social, Signature Brew, Exale, Beerblefish, Renegade, Wildcard and Hackney Brewery) will be hosting live music, DJ sets and all sorts of free entertainment on the day. You can also expect top notch street food and 20 different beers to try across the eight participating taprooms. Entry to all the venues is free, and if you collect a stamp at each of them you can even bag yourself a special commemorative pint class. Cheers to that!
