When the cars move out, the talent takes over. Frank’s Café in Peckham Rye sits atop a former multi-storey car park, enticing culinary odours replacing the whiff of exhaust fumes. Hearn Street Car Park in Shoreditch hosts club nights and now a disused car park in Fulham is the setting for a five-day event that is both showcase and celebration for the University of Brighton’s 2013 Graphic Design and Illustration graduates. Along with exhibited work, the show will host a pop-up café selling fresh coffee and a shop where you can snap up artwork, prints and independent publications from the big names of the future. On Sunday July 7 6-8pm there's a discussion session led by Crowd Talks, looking at the continuing relevance of degree shows, despite the prolific rise of blogs and online exhibition spaces. And winding things up on Tuesday July 9 there's a party night, with DJs and live music from 7.30pm till late.
