This evening talk explores the career of Christina Broom who is often described as the first female press photographer. Anna Sparham, curator of Soldiers and Suffragettes will be joined by Edwardian postcard expert, Guy Atkins and women's history specialist Di Atkinson to discuss Broom as well as the changing role of the image in Edwardian society. A late night opening of the exhibition will take place on the same date between 6pm-10pm, with a special bar and access to the Rum and Sugar restaurant. Book tickets in advance online.
