Like your favourite underground DJ, the BFI is offering up cinematic deep cuts, lesser-known gems and crowd-pleasing classics with a connoisseur's twist for its Christmas season, as well as talks, Q&As and readings. The flagship venue of the British Film Institute has a stellar programme on the cards letting you watch underrated classics like The Spy Who Came In From The Cold (1965), What Scoundrels Men Are! (1932) and BOOM! (1968), alongside new releases Rental Family (plus a live talk from Brendan Fraser), I Swear and It Was Just An Accident. There are a few festive big hitters thrown in for good measure too, including Titanic (yes, it is a Christmas film), Gremlins and the Amandaland Christmas special.
