Inspired by the redevelopment of the skate park on the Southbank, the Architecture Foundation is putting on a three-part series of talks about preserving the capital's public spaces and saving them from private ventures. The first evvent, 'Money Talks', focuses on maintaining the city 'as an affordable place to live, work and experiment'; followed by legal loopholes that could save creative spaces in 'Appropriate Measures'; and during 'If I Had a Hammer…' speakers explore a do it yourself ethos to counter the rapidly increasing cost of living.
