Face Britain

Thousands of self-portraits by kids from across the UK are projected on to the front façade of Buckingham Palace to form a montage image of the Queen as tpart of this project devised by The Prince's Foundation for Children & the Arts. Children between the ages of four and 16 years were invited to create a self-portrait – with more than 200,000 uploaded to the Face Britain online gallery. In addition to the Buckingham Palace projection, the montage portrait is being simultaneously broadcast on 18 BBC Big Screens around the country.
