This talk looks at the benefits of using a Human Rights based approach to caring for those with dementia and how this can empower staff who are faced with making difficult clinical decisions. Dr Sarah Butchard, a clinical psychologist whose interest lies in the impact receiving a dementia diagnosis has on an individual's wellbeing will be the guest speaker at the event which is organised but the Institute of Psychology, Health and Society. The talk takes place at 33 Finsbury Square and is free to attend but must be booked in advance. Tickets are available here
